While known for scoring the SAT college entrance exam in the U.S. and administrating the TOEFL exam in other countries, a new 75-minute test, offered at two levels, provides the test taker with a set of problems to solve related to abilities to organize, evaluate, and communicate electronic data. Sample scenarios require the test taker to research a topic on the Web, find information from multiple sources, and compare found information to the initial problem statement. Items also require the person to evaluate the quality or authority of what they found, interpret graphs, reorder information in tables, and check for reliability and plausibility of sources. |
