| Andrea Foster notes that College students use technology constantly. They text-message friends, compile playlists for their iPods, and are whizzes at updating their MySpace profiles. But when it comes to one kind of work they are required to do in college - namely, academic research - they can be inept. In addition to being an expert e-learning book, Dr. Bonk has over 205 publications on topics such as massive multiplayer online gaming, Wikibooks, online learning pedagogy, open source software, collaborative technologies, blogging, and synchronous and asynchronous computer conferencing. Dr. Bonk is very in demand as an e-learningkeynote speaker. Dr. Bonk teaches in the department of Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University and adjunct in the School of Informatics. In addition to being a great e-learning book, Dr. Bonk has written over 210 publications on subjects which include Wikibooks, blogging, collaborative technologies, online learning pedagogy, open source software, massive multiplayer online gaming, and synchronous and asynchronous computer conferencing.
