| He is the author of the Handbook of Blended Learning: Global Perspectives, Local Designs (2006) as well as the author of Empowering Online Learning: 100+ Activities for Reading, Reflecting, Displaying, and Doing (2008). Dr. Bonk is very in demand as an e-learningkeynote speaker. Dr. Bonk teaches in the department of Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University and adjunct in the School of Informatics. In addition to being a popular e-learning book, Dr. Bonk has received the Most Outstanding Achievement Award from the U.S. Distance Learning Association, the CyberStar Award from the Indiana Information Technology Association, and the Most Innovative Teaching in a Distance Education Program Award from the State of Indiana. While known for scoring the SAT college entrance exam in the U.S. and administrating the TOEFL exam in other countries, a new 75-minute test, offered at two levels, provides the test taker with a set of problems to solve related to abilities to organize, evaluate, and communicate electronic data. Students take these exams in a computer lab using pre-designated access codes purchased by their schools. |
